Questions, answered
Is Droply really free?
Yes. Droply is free to download and use with no file-size limits, subscriptions, or ads.
Do my files get uploaded to the cloud?
No. Transfers happen directly between your devices. When they can't reach each other directly, an encrypted relay forwards the bytes without ever storing them.
Do I need an account?
No account, no sign-up. Pair with a QR code and you're ready.
Which platforms are supported?
The desktop app runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux. Pair it with the Droply mobile app on your phone.
How do updates work?
The desktop app updates itself automatically. New versions download silently in the background and install on restart.
Is it safe to install?
Installers are code-signed and every download lists a SHA-256 checksum you can verify. See the download page.
